Acquired: By IMG Arena, the data distribution rights to the Ryder Cup, Sept. 21-26 at Whistling Straits, in Kohler, Wisc. IMG Arena, a sports betting service and content hub, will package and present the data from the Ryder Cup for sportsbook operators. The purpose-built sports betting solution enables interactive in-play betting on the sport.
Hired: By Dynamic Brands, Don Carroll as the contact center manager. Carroll will oversee customer service department. The company also named Joe St. Clair as IT director.
Reported: By Callaway Golf, Q2 quarterly earnings of $0.36 per share, compared to earnings of $0.06 per share a year ago. According to Callaway Golf, consolidated net revenue in Q2 increased $617 million to $914 million (+208 percent). Also, golf equipment revenue increased 98 percent to a record $588 million, while Topgolf overperformed with $325 million in revenue.
