Raymond James becomes co-presenting sponsor of the Pelican Women’s Championship LPGA Tour event

A longtime supporter in the Tampa Bay community, Raymond James inks multi-year partnership with Tampa Bay’s signature women’s golf championship; Tickets are now on sale for the 2021 Pelican Women’s Championship presented by Raymond James and Konica Minolta, Nov. 8-14, 2021

BELLEAIR, Fla., Aug. 10, 2021 The Pelican Women’s Championship and Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE: RJF) jointly announced today a multi-year strategic partnership for Raymond James to become co-presenting sponsor and official partner of the annual LPGA Tour event, taking place at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla. The Pelican Women’s Championship presented by Raymond James and Konica Minolta will take place Nov. 8-14, 2021, featuring the world’s best female golfers competing over 72 holes for a share of the $1.75 million purse.

As part of the multiyear partnership that begins with this year’s event, Raymond James will add title sponsorship to the Monday Pro-Am (Nov. 8), as well as title sponsor of the Women’s Leadership Summit, taking place Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Pelican Golf Club.
