Scottie Scheffler is the world's No. 1-ranked player for a reason, and his 2022-23 season is still shaping up to be a memorable one. Already this season, Scheffler's official money total of $19,254,342 is the highest in a single PGA Tour season. The last player to lead the money list in consecutive seasons is Justin Thomas in 2016-17 and 2017-18. Interestingly, Scheffler heads into this week's BMW Championship as No. 2 in the FedEx Cup standings, trailing Jon Rahm by 147.780 points. Should Scheffler manage to win the FedEx Cup, he will become the second player to win the Players Championship and the Cup in the same year, joining Rory McIlroy (2019).
