There are purists who believe that golf is only defined by play on a traditional 18-hole course. But there is no denying that the off-course golf experiences — Topgolf and PopStroke, for example — are a benefit to growing the game. According to the National Golf Foundation, 10% of today's 25.6 million on-course players credit their off-course experience for getting them into the game.

LIV Golf: Announces that three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly will perform at LIV Golf Chicago, returning to Rich Harvest Farms Sept. 22-24. Nelly will perform live on the main stage on Friday, Sept. 22 to conclude day one of competition. Also, Grammy Award-winning Tiesto will perform on Saturday, Sept. 23, following the second day of competition.
Blue Tees Golf: Introduces a customs program that allows organizations and companies to mix and match product selection for event gifting. The products include the company's best-selling Series 3 Max Rangefinder, Player speaker, and Magnetic Towel. Blue Tees Golf is offering special discounts on specific custom orders, and setup fees will be waived on all orders of 25 or more Magnetic Towels and on 50 or more Player Speakers.
USGA: Announces that Plainfield Country Club in Edison, New Jersey, will be the host site for three USGA championships — the 2025 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, the 2031 U.S. Senior Women’s Open and the 2038 U.S. Senior Open. They will be the third, fourth and fifth USGA championships held at the club. Plainfield Country Club was founded in 1890 as the Hillside Tennis Club and added a nine-hole golf course five years later. The current course was designed by Donald Ross and opened for play in 1921.
