Scottie Scheffler had never won in the state of California. Also, he had never won a tournament in which he was making his debut appearance. Sunday, the world No. 1 checked off both boxes as he appeared Ryder Cup ready by winning the Procure Championship. In winning, Scheffler became just the second player to record six-plus wins in multiple seasons since 1983 — yes, the other being Tiger Woods. All 10 of Scheffler's Ryder Cup teammates who were in the field made the cut, including runner-up Ben Griffin, J.J. Spaun (6th), Cameron Young (T9) and Sam Burns (T13).
