Golf fans have enjoyed a nice fortnight of competition with the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup being played on rare back-to-back weekends in Spain and Italy, respectively. According to the National Golf Foundation, golfers like the team format concept. A survey of 578 core golfers revealed that 24% prefer team / partner play to individual play and that 72% would play team competitions / events if they were available.
