One of the compelling storylines in any team sports offseason is free agency. On Sunday, at LIV Golf's regular-season finale in Saudi Arabia, the top 24 players in the final individual standings secured their spots for next year’s 2024 LIV Golf League. Those players who finished 25th through 44th, though, are in what is known as the Open Zone, meaning they are free to resign with their current team or one of the other 11 teams. The list of free agents is impressive and includes such notables as Henrik Stenson (25th on the list), Pat Perez (28th), Kevin Na (30th), Ian Poulter (34th), Paul Casey (35th), Charl Schwartzel (38th), Phil Mickelson (39th) and Graeme McDowell (42nd).
