Nico Echavarria needed every birdie he could record to win the Zozo Championship at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan. After opening with a pair of 64s, Echavarria closed 65-67 to finish at 20 under and won by a stroke over Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman. While it was only Echavarria's second PGA Tour win, he's starting to show that being a front runner suits him as he is 2-for-2 when holding the a 54-hole lead. His career-low 260 score also set the tournament 72-hole low score, which was previously 261, shot by Tiger Woods in 2019.
