FIRST THOUGHT

Where's the LPGA on TV? That's the question some frustrated golf fans asked Sunday afternoon. The playoff between Nelly Korda, Sei Young Kim, Lydia Ko and Lexi Thompson at the LPGA's Pelican Women's Championship was not shown live on broadcast television, though it was replayed Sunday night on Golf Channel. The event streamed live but there were reports on social media of the stream being lost, perhaps when fans turned in to see a playoff that included three of the world's top five players. Korda, the world's No. 1 player, won with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
