A mixed-gender team event could be added to the 2028 Olympics. Antony Scanlon, executive director of the International Golf Federation, revealed that he submitted a proposal to the International Olympic Committee at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. Scanlon noted the success of other mixed-team events at the Paris Olympics and expressed strong enthusiasm among players to compete together, aiming for another medal opportunity alongside the existing individual men’s and women’s events.
