🏌️ The European Ryder Cup team always finds a way to manufacture a grudge against the Americans as added motivation. This year, it seems to be about Americans taking money and the Europeans being too pure to accept it. Is this a legitimate beef?

🏌️ On a podcast, European Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter said of U.S. fans, “Only in America that the stupidness comes out.” Then, he said, “I’m not completely dissing the American fans, ’cause the atmosphere in America is amazing.” Can both be true at the same time?
🏌️ Does it matter that all 24 Ryder Cuppers play a full schedule on the PGA Tour and live in the U.S., at least part time?
🏌️ The U.S. team was criticized for wearing open collars with no necktie and white tennis shoes with their suits for the gala dinner. Really? This is what we’re spending time talking about?
