Malcolm DeMille’s brilliant craftsmanship was on display this past weekend, with handcrafted Champion trophies for both the Chevron Championship and RBC Heritage. Each event had outstanding play, and a Champion that is making history.
Nelly Korda wrote her name in the history books alongside Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam, Nancy Lopez, and Ben Hogan by winning five straight consecutive starts. At the Chevron Championship, Korda hoisted up the 24” Silver Cup that was updated by Malcolm DeMille in 2022, transforming the Dinah Shore Trophy into the Chevron Championship Cup. Nelly Korda will receive her own 12” tall silver plate replica of the iconic trophy cup handcrafted by Malcolm DeMille featuring the Chevron Championship logo and personalized with her name. This Trophy will always be a special memento of her Chevron Championship win and history making, 5th straight consecutive win.
Meanwhile in Hilton Head rain delays and postponed final rounds weren’t slowing down Scottie Scheffler. He backed up his win at the Masters with another title as the RBC Heritage Champion, earning him the iconic “Willie” trophy handcrafted by renowned sculptor Malcolm DeMille. The 16” tall patinaed bronze sculpture highlighted with a bronze patina is mounted to a walnut base with engraved title plate. The team at Malcolm DeMille also handcrafts 8” bronze replicas for the Pro-Am winners. These amazing trophies are a lasting memento of the RBC Heritage and Plaid Nation.
