STAMFORD, Conn. – July 1, 2026 – NBC Sports presents the U.S. Senior Open this week across NBC, Peacock and NBCSN featuring defending champion Padraig Harrington, who captured his second U.S. Senior Open title last year by one stroke over Stewart Cink.
One of five major championships on PGA TOUR Champions, the U.S. Senior Open returns to historic Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio, for the first time since 2016. Harrington is joined in the star-studded field by Cink, two-time Charles Schwab Cup winner Steven Alker, three-time PGA TOUR Champions major winner Miguel Angel Jiménez, and World Golf Hall of Famers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen, who each won two U.S. Opens.
NBC Sports and Golf Channel analyst Notah Begay III will also compete in this year's championship after earning his place in the field through final qualifying.
Peacock and NBCSN will carry coverage Thursday and Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. ET. Weekend coverage begins on Peacock at Noon ET Saturday and 1 p.m. ET Sunday. NBC/Peacock coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET Saturday and 3 p.m. ET Sunday.
