Braselton, GA: FlightScope and the American Junior Golf Association have signed a partnership to bring performance data you can trust to junior golf.

FlightScope’s partnership with the American Junior Golf Association runs through the end of 2023 and will provide numerous benefits to junior members.

“Partnering with the AJGA is an honor and privilege for FlightScope as we get to provide performance data to the most respected junior golf organization in the world, and the next generation of golf’s superstars,” said Henri Johnson, FlightScope founder and CEO. “With both organizations respected for long-term relationships, we look forward to working with the AJGA to provide state-of-the-art game improving data analytics technology to its members.”

AJGA Members will be able to test FlightScope’s Mevo+ units at all AJGA events. The Mevo+ unit features 16 accurate ball and club data parameters, action video clips with data overlay, ability to dial in distances, an internal camera for easy target alignment, and several simulated golf courses and practice ranges to play as entertainment.

“The AJGA is excited to partner with FlightScope to bring a new level of performance technology to our events across the country,” said Chief Business Officer Jason Etzen. “Being able to heighten the Swing Video experience for our Junior Plus and Coaches Corner members will be a great benefit to our mission.”

Mevo+ technology allows college coaches to see data points on each junior’s swing. FlightScope’s partnership will elevate the experience for members and college golf coaches.

As part of the partnership, the AJGA will create a ‘FlightScope week’. One week per month, FlightScope data will be used to promote tournament champions, Qualifier medalists and achievements on and off the golf course.

“Having a son that travelled from South Africa to play in AJGA tournaments, I have always been impressed by how professionally this junior golf organization is run,” said Johan Immelman, FlightScope marketing director and past commissioner of the Southern Africa PGA Tour (Sunshine Tour). “FlightScope looks forward to partnering with the AJGA to provide valuable performance data to players, fans, coaches and their equipment partners.”

FlightScope ambassadors Bryson DeChambeau and Bubba Watson are AJGA alumni. During his junior career, DeChambeau finished in the top 10 at three national junior golf events. DeChambeau has five career PGA TOUR wins. Two-time Masters Champion, Bubba Watson, compiled 14 top ten finishes, with two wins and earned Rolex Junior All-American honors in 1995, 1996 and 1992.
