The Golf Performance Center examines COVID-19’s impact on junior, NCAA golf

Live Q&A about a new era of amateur golf on Tuesday, August 11

(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.)The Golf Performance Center (GPC) – a world leader in junior golf innovations, integrating player development, premium technology and facilities with industry thought leaders – will host a live, interactive episode of its “5 Elements of Success Player Development Series” on YouTube exploring COVID-19’s impact on junior golf and consequential changes to NCAA guidelines on Tuesday, August 11 at 12 p.m. EDT. Roger Knick, Founder of The GPC, Junior Golf Hub (JGH) and Ethan Allen Prep (EAP), will be joined by The GPC’s Dennis Hillman and JGH’s Ted Swartwood, Rick Dowling and Danny Dolan. The panel, with decades of experience playing and working in competitive golf, will discuss their expectations for the future of amateur golf, while taking viewer questions and answering them live on air.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the junior and college golf landscape in many different ways,” says Roger Knick. “The path to playing collegiate golf looks a lot different now, but the information and resources found on the Junior Golf Hub arms parents and players with the tools needed to make informed decisions, helping to alleviate the additional stresses we’re all facing in 2020.”

The “5 Elements of Success Player Development Series” is a weekly YouTube series presented by Junior Golf Hub that delivers expertise of The GPC coaches directly to junior golfers and parents worldwide every Tuesday at 12 p.m. EDT. The 14 previous episodes can be viewed here.
