Junior Golf Hub hosts aspiring collegiate golfers for NCAA recruiting, game assessment summit

Registration now open for College Prep Series held October 16-18

(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.) Junior Golf Hub (JGH) – the leading online community for junior golfers, their parents and college coaches – has opened registration for the annual College Prep Series, a three-day event held October 16-18, featuring top PGA professionals and elite college golf coaches in an immersive session designed with one purpose in mind: helping junior golfers achieve their dreams of playing at the next level. To register for the event, click here.

Hosted by The Golf Performance Center (GPC) in Ridgefield, CT, the College Prep Series answers pressing questions for future collegiate golfers and their parents including:

· Is my game ready for college golf?
· What are the weak links that are holding me back from realizing my potential?
· What are college coaches looking for?
· How can I get recognized?
· How does the recruiting process work?
· What is life like as a college golfer?

The College Prep Series will hold various information panels and Q&A sessions, including NCAA Division I, II and III coaches, PGA professionals, former NCAA student-athletes and golf performance, academic and psychological coaches at The GPC. Players and parents will also participate in detailed, guided sessions explaining the college golf recruiting process, featuring head coaches at top college golf programs, including Will Green (Princeton men’s golf), John O’Connor (Quinnipiac women’s golf), Steve Sokol (Post men’s and women’s golf) and Dan Wesley (Rochester men’s golf).

In addition to information sessions, players at the College Prep Series will undergo the Player Development Index (PDI) Assessment, a state-of-the-art full game evaluation conducted by elite PGA and TPI-certified performance coaches. PDI helps players improve by systematically identifying weak links that prevent them from realizing their potential.

Players and parents will leave the College Prep Series with a thorough understanding of the college recruiting process and a detailed report covering the weaknesses that may be holding the player back from reaching their true potential.

On-site COVID-19 protocol will require attendees to wear masks at all times indoors, maintain a six-foot distance from others and undergo temperature checks each day. Please check the current guidelines for travel to Connecticut here. Only visitors from green states may attend. The GPC will continue to monitor the situation closely and be ready to change plans as necessary.

For more than 20 years, The GPC and JGH have successfully guided nearly 100 competitors as they prepare for golf at the highest levels. Alumni include multiple NCAA All-Americans, current and former student-athletes at 80 different colleges and universities and professionals who have won on the Korn Ferry Tour, Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada and European Tour.
