Sunshine Tour hosts South African Open

ORLANDO, Fla., (Dec. 1, 2020) – The PGA TOUR is in Mexico for the Mayakoba Golf Classic, as Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka headline the field. Live tournament coverage will air Thursday through Saturday on GOLF Channel, with live final round coverage airing Sunday on NBC. The LPGA Tour is in Texas for the Volunteers of America Classic, as Cheyenne Knight defends her 2019 title. Lucas Bjerregaard and Bernd Wiesberger lead the field on the European Tour at the Golf in Dubai Championship, airing live on GOLF Channel Wednesday through Saturday. The Sunshine Tour hosts the South African Open, with Dylan Frittelli and Christiaan Bezuidenhout both in the field.

Volunteers of America Classic “charity challenge” airing Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET: GOLF Channel will air the Volunteers of America Classic charity challenge on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, featuring Stacy Lewis and Gerina Piller taking on Sophia Popov and Mel Reid. The Solheim Cup-style competition will benefit Volunteers of America charitable initiatives.

Lee to be featured in “Caddie Knows Best”: During Friday’s second round coverage, Minjee Lee and her caddie will be featured in “Caddie Knows Best,” where Lee will try to match answers to questions posed to her caddie about her interests and habits on Tour.

Knight defends: Cheyenne Knight finished two shots clear of Brittany Altomare and Jaye Marie Green to earn her first LPGA Tour win.
