PGA Value Guide to attend 2021 virtual PGA Merchandise Show

(RALEIGH, N.C.) – PGA Value Guide – developed under a licensing arrangement with the PGA of America to provide the golf industry’s authority voice for up-to-date values of pre-owned golf equipment – will exhibit at the 2021 Virtual PGA Merchandise Show January 27-29, and will be available demonstrate why it is one of the key industry business tools available to every PGA Professional and golf shop in the U.S.

“Accepting trade-ins of previously played equipment is a crucial retail tool that every golf shop should be using to serve their members and customers and to grow facility revenue!” stated John Marino, PGA Director of Golf at Old Chatham Golf Club and 2020 Carolinas PGA Merchandiser of the Year. "The PGA Value Guide is an easy process and gets money back for our membership," added Douglas Farrell, PGA Head Golf Professional at Olympia Fields Country Club.

The PGA Value Guide offers the PGA Professional and the golf consumer the highest everyday values available in the golf industry for previously played equipment and periodically provides additional trade-in incentives. Ed Byman, CEO of Global Value Commerce, Inc. added, “In addition, high introductory price points and longer product lifecycles for new products have resulted in unprecedented trade-in values for consumers, and there is no better time for the consumer to trade golf equipment for the latest technology.”

In addition to providing the PGA Professional with the industry-leading pre-owned club liquidation tool, the PGA Value Guide is pleased to announce that in early 2021 it will extend its service to PGA Professionals by providing assistance with the liquidation of unsold merchandise, including GPS/Rangefinders, Apparel, Footwear, Golf Bags, Golf Balls and Golf Shoes. "The PGA Value Guide is a great resource to liquidate demos, trade-ins, and excess inventory. I highly recommend each PGA Professional work with the PGA Value Guide," noted Patrick Crow, PGA Director of Golf at Chicago Highlands Club.

As part of its continual effort to drive greater value to the PGA Professional, the Value Guide launched the Leaderboard Trade-in Program to provide additional incentives to PGA Professionals to use the PGA Value Guide to address their needs to liquidate used and excess inventories of new products. “The program offers additional incentives to ensure that the PGA Professionals that use the Value Guide receive maximum value for their trade-ins, so they can offer aggressive trade-in values to their customers and continue to stock and sell the latest equipment on the market. Trade-ins are part of the new landscape for purchasing clubs and the PGA Value Guide provides an easy-to-use site. Receiving a bonus check is an added benefit!" commented Peter Micklewright, PGA Head Golf Professional at Edgewood Country Club.

The PGA Value Guide is also available to consumers. Millions of golfers turn to the PGA Value Guide to ensure they receive the highest overall trade-in values for their pre-owned equipment. For more information on the PGA Value Guide: https://valueguide.pga.com/
