Phillip Martin to head operations and Matt McIntee to lead business development

Chicago, Ill. (February 24, 2021) – To accommodate regional growth interests and opportunities, Troon®, the leader in club management, development, and marketing recently expanded and opened a new corporate office in Chicago, Ill. In addition, Troon announced two key appointments that will help lead Chicago office and regional operations, as Phillip Martin will head operations and Matt McIntee will lead business development.

Martin, a 25-plus-year golf and hospitality industry veteran has been promoted from vice president of operations to senior vice president and has relocated to the Chicago office from Troon’s Scottsdale headquarters.  Martin will have operational oversight of all Troon brands serviced out of the Chicago office, while also taking on new projects and client services created from the immediate growth occurring in the Midwest. A graduate of Texas Christian University’s MBA program, Martin holds the rare distinction of being a member of both the PGA of America and Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).
