NORTHBROOK, Illinois, March 16, 2021 – Jeremy Goldblatt has joined KemperSports as executive vice president, managed and leased services division, which includes golf and hospitality operations at more than 100 highly ranked golf courses and resorts in more than 24 states.
“Jeremy’s strong background in hospitality, sports and entertainment will be a very valuable addition to our leadership team as we continue our growth in golf, resorts and lodging management,” said Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports.
Goldblatt will be tasked with overseeing the company’s expansive portfolio of managed and leased properties and leading the KemperSports regional operations teams. Additionally, he will lead the new business development team, which includes implementing KemperSports’ long term growth strategy in the golf resort destination business. Recently, the company assumed management of all hotel and food and beverage operations for Streamsong Resort, a leading golf destination in central Florida where KemperSports has managed the resort’s three top 100 golf courses since opening in 2012. This expanded operation and role at Streamsong Resort adds to the impressive collection of golf resort destinations that the company manages across the country.
“I was drawn to KemperSports for its independently-owned business model that values long-term growth strategies and a service-first culture built on family values,” said Goldblatt. “KemperSports is a perfect match for my own professional goals and personal work ethic. I’m excited to join and grow with a company that has an exceptional reputation in the golf and hospitality industry.”
Goldblatt most recently served as chief operating officer of Professional Sports Catering, a division of Levy – one of the nation’s leading hospitality companies. In that role, Goldblatt led a team that operated food and beverage services at professional sports stadiums around the country. He is a graduate of Brown University and received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Goldblatt is a Chicago native and currently resides in the city with his wife and three children.
Goldblatt will be filling the role that was previously held by golf industry veteran Jim Stegall. Earlier, Stegall announced that he will be retiring at the end of 2021 and will serve as a senior consultant to the company.
