Duca Del Cosma sets the pace with advanced shoe collection

Italian golf fashion brand Duca del Cosma has unveiled its most advanced shoe range in the latest SS21 Collection designed to appeal to American golfers looking for premium hand-crafted footwear that push the boundaries in terms of style, performance and sustainability.

Featuring a host of new premium styles for men and women in an array of daring colors, the vibrant Spring/Summer Collection incorporates new performance-enhancing and eco-friendly features to deliver an unrivalled look and feel on and off the course.

The athletic Tomcat & Wildcat (RRP $209) pairing spearhead the collection and incorporate the new Airplay XII outsole that demonstrates the brand’s commitment to sustainability. This innovatively engineered outsole is made from recyclable rubber and has 2-Way-Twist triangular nubs on the pivot point for an extra smooth transition in the swing. Cone-shaped nubs ensure optimum grip and the B-Light rubber outsole delivers a lightweight feel.

OnSteam® technology provides waterproof protection in the inner lining and features a new 100% breathable, recyclable microfibre that offers the feel of leather, but with the absorption capacity eight times its weight in water. Maximum comfort is achieved with a temperature-regulating effect that keeps the foot dry in all weather conditions.

More new models include the classic looking Elpaso in the Men’s collection, as well as the stylish Siren, chic Bellezza and dashing Esti in the Women’s range.

The stylish Elpaso ($229) adds a modern twist to a traditional golf shoe. A Nappa leather upper provides superior comfort, while recyclable microfibre in the sock system and insole gives the shoe an eco-friendly update. Both the OnSteam® lining and ARNEFLEX® insert sole provide waterproofing and breathability, while the spikeless Airplay XI outsole adds a striking modern look.

The stylish Siren ($219) in the Women’s range is crafted using soft Italian Nappa leather and delivers unparalleled looks for wear both on and off the course. With OnSteam® lining and an ARNEFLEX® insert sole, the waterproof shoe ensures feet remain dry and comfortable throughout the day. The shoe also features the new Airplay XII outsole.

The white Bellezza ($229) is a nod to classic golf shoes of the past thanks to the stylish interchangeable kiltie that covers the laces. The outer is crafted from soft Italian leather to guarantee comfort, while cone-shaped nubs on the Airplay IX outsole deliver a solid grip. A slightly elevated and see-through midsole gives the stylish shoe a modern look. A white leather kiltie comes as standard, with a variety of 10 different colors available separately.

The sneaker-style Esti ($219) offers a truly unique look and is packed with flare for golfers seeking a shoe that really stands out both on and off the fairways. Crafted using Nappa leather, the upper features a ‘love’ strap and Duca del Cosma branded tee, as well as a dotted exterior for added style. The Airplay VIII outsole delivers the perfect combination of function and fit, making the Esti an extremely versatile shoe.

Retained 2020 models in the Men’s collection include the award-winning Belair ($209) and La Spezia II ($229), sporty Kuba ($229), classic Eldorado and Camelot (both $229), colorful Rebel and Energy (both $229), distinctively athletic Flyer ($229), as well as the unique California and Florida (both $219) and supremely comfortable Monterosso ($169).

Among the standout Women’s shoes that are carried over are the sporty Kubana ($229), animal print Marquessa ($219), Vinci and the award-winning King Cheetah* (both $229), classic Isabel ($219) and Rhapsody ($209), vibrant Vogue ($229) and Style ($219). The popular Festiva ($169) sneaker-style shoe is also continued.

*Duca del Cosma adopted a King Cheetah cub - one of the rarest animals on the planet - in support of the Endangered Species Centre (HESC) in Hoedspruit, South Africa. With every King Cheetah shoe sale, the brand donates $15 to the Cheetah breeding program in an attempt to help preserve this beautiful animal. This style has been selected for a Global Footwear Award 2020.
