Coral Gables, Florida (June 3, 2021) – Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club in Coral Gables, Fla., recently promoted Daniella Tosta to the position of Director of Membership & Marketing. In her new role, Tosta will oversee membership, marketing and communication for the private club, including sales, onboarding, member programming, social media and member relations.
Tosta joined the Deering Bay team in 2006, working in food and beverage for three years before moving to the welcome desk where her engaging nature with members and guests was evident. In 2010, she was promoted to membership manager and has been a part of the new member on-boarding process. In recent years, Tosta has taken on additional responsibilities, while growing and developing her sales and administrative skills.

Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club is currently in the midst of a $7.1 million amenity improvement project centered around the club’s beautiful 30,000 square-foot Mediterranean architecture-inspired clubhouse. With an estimated completion date of October 2021, changes throughout the clubhouse reflect current trends in the private club industry and provide competitive, high-quality facilities for members. A new 19th Hole bar is being constructed adjacent to the club’s Junior Olympic-sized pool and the first tee to provide creative fare to golfers, tennis player and pool goers. The existing lounge is being renovated, and expanded to reflect a casual-upscale dining atmosphere. A new Youth Center featuring an arts and crafts center, movie screen, reading and study area, will be added to the clubhouse to help serve the club’s growing number of young families. In addition, Deering Bay’s Fitness Center and Group Exercise Room will double in size and feature a new workout room complete with state-of-the-art fitness equipment as well as a new group exercise room for a variety of fitness classes.
Established in 1990, Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club is the only gated golf community in Miami-Dade County.
