PGA Buying & Education Summit will bring together PGA professionals, key buyers and top apparel and accessory companies at the JW Marriott Resort Las Vegas, Aug. 9-10

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2021) – The newly formatted PGA Show Buying & Education Summit, Aug. 9-10, 2021 in Las Vegas, will welcome influential PGA Professionals and golf buyers to meet in person with a curated group of top apparel, accessory and golf lifestyle companies in the upscale resort setting of the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa.

The two-day event, held during Las Vegas Fashion Week, features fashion and accessory line showings, PGA and AGM education workshops, a PGA of America Town Hall, Southwest PGA Section events, networking receptions and an event-ending golf outing on Wednesday, Aug. 11. Event details and registration are available at PGALasVegas.com.

PGA Golf Exhibitions and the PGA of America are implementing health and safety standards based on current CDC guidelines, local public health guidance and JW Marriott Las Vegas protocols to help support a safe and comfortable experience.

“The new format of the PGA Show Buying & Education Summit has been designed from the onset to help the golf industry return to in-person apparel and accessory sourcing while prioritizing the health and well-being of event guests,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President Marc Simon. “We look forward to hosting this premium, smaller-scale gathering of industry stakeholders who can connect for high-value business, education and networking.”

Top apparel, accessory and golf lifestyle companies will meet with invited buyers and PGA Professionals in scheduled meetings of the private One2One event and during open exhibitor line showings. Event attendees will be able to participate in multiple networking events, including nightly receptions and an event-closing industry golf scramble outing at TPC Las Vegas. The PGA of America will host a PGA Town Hall with PGA President Jim Richerson and PGA Secretary Don Rea, open to all PGA Professionals, at 4 p.m. (PT) on Tuesday, Aug. 10, and the Southwest PGA Section also will host multiple section programs during the Summit.

The PGA of America and the Association of Golf Merchandisers will present seven education workshops covering executive management, teaching & coaching and golf retail. PGA Professionals can earn a total of 10 MSR credits by participating in the Summit and education workshops.

Participation in the PGA Show Buying & Education Summit exhibitor line showings and networking receptions are complimentary to PGA Professionals and qualified golf buyers.  All seven education workshops are available for a low-priced all-access education pass of $50, and the event-ending golf scramble tournament at TPC Las Vegas on Aug. 11 is available to purchase for $195 (entry fee, breakfast box, drink ticket, and lunch). Participation in the golf outing is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Upgrades for education and the golf outing can be made within online registration at PGALasVegas.com.
