The Golf Performance Center to host open house on August 28

Interact with industry leaders to learn more about the journey to college golf

(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.) –  The Golf Performance Center (The GPC) – a junior golf academy and industry thought leader in player development innovations, premium technology and facilities – announces an Open House to be held Saturday, August 28th from 10am-2pm EST at its facilities in Ridgefield, CT.

Parents and juniors are invited to learn from The GPC’s leadership about its various first-class golf and education offerings, including the ACHIEVE program and a preview of the 2022 junior golf programs. Attendees will interact with and learn from Founder Roger Knick, Director of ACHIEVE Charlie Wampfler, Director of Performance Tyler Campbell and Director of Coaching Dennis Hillman.

“We’re looking forward to educating visitors about how we’re able to effectively specialize in supporting high-performing student-athletes who require a blended approach when it comes to the amount of time invested in their sport and studies,” says Charlie Wampfler, Director of The GPC’s ACHIEVE program. “We have the unique ability to offer flexible class schedules and curriculum, which optimizes each student’s experience in the classroom and on the golf course while building strong time-management skills.”

ACHIEVE at The GPC is a private boarding academy for student-athletes in grades 6-12. Through a partnership with USPA, an NCAA-accredited virtual school, students are able to pursue and prioritize academics while training at The GPC. The 2022 summer sessions include four- and eight-week junior programs, including golf skills training, tournament play, physical performance coaching and custom club fitting – all while boarding at The GPC’s Main Campus.

For more than 20 years, The GPC ha s successfully guided nearly 100 competitors as they prepare for golf at the highest levels. Alumni include multiple NCAA All-Americans, current and former student-athletes at 80 different colleges and universities and professionals who have won on the Korn Ferry Tour, Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada and European Tour.
