BELLEAIR, Fla., Nov. 9, 2021 – The tournament field for the 2021 Pelican Women’s Championship presented by Konica Minolta and Raymond James was finalized on Monday following the Monday Qualifier at TPC Tampa Bay, where Lauren Coughlin (3-under-par 68) and Isi Gabsa (2-undar-par 69) captured the top two spots to gain entry into the championship, taking place Nov. 11-14 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.
Following the conclusion of the Monday Qualifier, tournament officials announced the final two sponsor exemptions – LPGA Tour winner and Solheim Cup veteran Christina Kim and amateur Maisie Filler, a sophomore at the University of Florida and a member of the Florida Gators women’s golf team. Filler was the low amateur in the Monday Qualifier with an even-par 71.
Taking place Nov. 11-14 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla., 108 of the game’s top women professional golfers will converge upon Tampa Bay to compete in the 72-hole championship for a share of the $1.75 million purse. GOLF Channel will televise all four days of coverage Thursday-Sunday.
