“Congratulations to our Troon Challenge National Finals winners and to everyone who competed in this year’s Troon Challenge Regional Qualifiers,” said Kris Strauss, Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, Troon. “With the current boom in golf, we saw increased interest at our regional qualifiers, with more than 1900 golfers competing for a chance to play in the National Finals. Our partners at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino knocked it out of the park with accommodations and the opening night reception, while our teams at Whirlwind and Ak-Chin Southern Dunes delivered exceptional Troon experiences for all participants.”

Troon developed the Troon Challenge in 2003 as a way for amateur golfers to compete in fun, competitive, well-run golf events at Troon-affiliated facilities. The National Final has been held in a warm weather destination in late November or early December since the event’s inception, and provides qualifiers with an opportunity to play for prizes and bragging rights.

The 2021 Troon Challenge was sponsored by Callaway Golf, along with supporting partners AHEAD, Phat Scooters, Pepsi, and Avis, with scoring powered by Golf Genius, and Golf Invite as the hole-in-one sponsor. For more information on the 2021 Troon Challenge, visit www.TroonChallenge.com.
