Golf industry reunites for in-person PGA Show to drive forward the business of the sport — Jan. 25-28, 2022, in Orlando

Innovative new products, industry presentations, comprehensive education and professional networking brings the community of golf together under latest health and safety protocols

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (January 19, 2022) – The 69th PGA Show will reunite the global golf industry in person for the first time in two years, Jan. 25-28, in Orlando, Florida. PGA Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives, retailers and manufacturers will experience a reimagined event with multiple new programs and enhancements.  While sourcing new innovative products and services from more than 600 participating brands remains at the forefront, industry professionals also will attend high-level industry presentations, learn timely business solutions for the current golf market and connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive forward the business of the sport. Organized in partnership by PGA Golf Exhibitions and the PGA of America, the PGA Show is prioritizing the well-being of the golf community with robust health and safety standards based on CDC guidelines, public health advisors and host venue protocols to support a responsible industry gathering and comfortable event experience. PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day
The 19th edition of the golf industry’s annual professional demo day kicks off PGA Show Week and has been renamed the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day, returning to Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida, on Jan. 25. The day-long event, produced in partnership between the PGA Show and PGA Magazine, features new opportunities this year for PGA Professionals to learn from experts in coaching, clubfitting, fitness and range operations, while testing a variety of products in outdoor golf conditions. PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day is open exclusively to PGA/LPGA Professionals and media, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., and open to additional industry professionals registered for the PGA Show, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.  

PGA Show Floor Features
The 69th edition of the PGA Show opens on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Orange County Convention Center where the golf community will uncover innovative new products from more than 600 participating brands, while exploring a redesigned and refreshed Show Floor featuring multiple new experiential elements designed to engage attendees with products and facilitate peer networking.

Attendees will enter the PGA Show floor to a new pavilion, the PGA of America Hub, featuring a golf experiential area, an industry presentation stage, a PGA Professional Lounge, PGA Coaching demonstrations, PGA Career Services and activations for Association initiatives and business partners. The putting green and short game areas have been relocated near the indoor Equipment Test Center to create one centralized area for testing products, and the Fashion Buyer Lounge is now more centrally located in the Apparel Hall to provide an exciting runway stage for the annual live Fashion Show, now on Jan. 26, the opening night of the PGA Show. Attendees can also look forward to a return of popular Show floor destinations including the New Product Zone, Golf Travel Pavilion, Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion, Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Pavilion and the Adaptive Golf Center.

Special Events
Once again PGA Show Week will have a full schedule of special events to bring industry peers together, including the Folds of Honor Red, White & Blues Party at Demo Day (Jan. 25); the PGA Show Opening Ceremony featuring PGA of America leadership, the unveiling of the PGA of America National Awards recipients, and musical entertainment by Sam Harrop (Jan. 26); the annual PGA Show Live Fashion Show and Networking Reception on opening night (Jan. 26); and multiple exhibitor events on the Show Floor and throughout Orlando in the evenings. 

Educational and Industry Programming
The renewal of the PGA Show features a heightened focus on providing solutions to today’s business climate through education and industry programming. PGA Show Week will begin again with the National Golf Course Owners Association Golf Business Conference, Jan. 24-26, followed by the AGM Golf Retail Conference on Jan. 25. PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day workshops feature top speakers on instruction, clubfitting, golf fitness and range operations. The PGA Show also features complimentary presentations by leaders from across the sport at the PGA Hub Industry Stageand additional programs by subject matter experts at the Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction Stage. The PGA Education Conference, focusing on teaching and coaching, executive management and operations tracks, plus golf retail sessions, features significantly less overlap with exhibit floor hours and post-show virtual access to allow PGA Professionals and golf buyers more time with exhibitors and their peers. PGA Professionals can take advantage of multiple PGA Member Business Center career workshops and all attendees are invited to participate in the National Alliance for Accessible Golf Inclusion Conference. PGA Professionals are able to earn more than 35 MSR credits through participation in the PGA Show Education Conference, additional PGA Show Week educational programming, and various PGA Show and PGA of America programs.  The current MSR Credit Cycle ends June 15, 2022.

Attendance
More than 500 media professionals have made plans to attend and report from the 2022 PGA Show. Among the hundreds of reporting media, Golf Channel will report live from the PGA Show each day during their Golf Today programming to a worldwide audience; SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio network will originate more than 20 hours of live and recorded programming from the PGA Show; CBS Sports HQ will be streaming live each day from the event; and SI Golf and Fairways of Life will be sharing daily reports from the Show Floor. Golf enthusiasts also can follow the latest daily happenings from the PGA Show by following #PGAShow in social media channels.

Attendance at the 69th PGA Show is restricted to PGA Professionals and golf industry personnel. Attendance and registration guidelines are available at PGAShow.com/en-us/show-info/attendee-qualifications.html. All attendees are expected to acknowledge and comply with event health and safety requirements. PGA, LPGA and International PGA Professionals can register at no charge, while other industry personnel will incur a $50 registration processing fee, Jan. 12 – Jan. 24, and a $195 fee at the PGA Show through Jan. 28. Industry professionals who are not able to attend in person may engage with the golf community online and access 2022 PGA Show virtual education programs at PGA Show Connects, the industry’s 365 digital marketplace.
