RENENS, SWITZERLAND -- Jason Day earned a T3 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open with a TPT Red Range 15 LŌ Driver Shaft. Day’s T3 finish was his best finish in a PGA Tour stroke-play tournament since 2018.
“Congratulations to Jason Day on his T3 finish at Torrey Pines,” said TPT Chairman François Mordasini. “To see him and so many other players relying on TPT shaft technologies to improve their precision validates our company’s belief that the shaft manufacturing process had to be re-invented to deliver meaningful performance improvements.”
TPT also earned top finishes at the Farmers Insurance Open from Sebastian Muñoz (T39) and Taylor Montgomery (T11).
Muñoz recently switched to a Red Range 14 Hī Driver Shaft. Montgomery, who plays primarily on the Korn Ferry Tour, has been using a complete set of TPT Red Range shafts since 2021: a 14 Hī Driver Shaft, a 14 LŌ Fairway Wood Shaft, and a 14 LŌ Hybrid Shaft.
“Three years ago, I started testing a TPT driver shaft and it outperformed the other shaft I was using since college by 20 yards in dispersion and about 10 yards of distance,” Montgomery said. “I personally think TPT shafts give me a competitive advantage because my driver, fairway wood, and hybrid shafts match up perfectly.”
