TurfHound Inc. values more than just one star, extends sponsorships of both PGA Sections in Texas

Seventh straight year with Northern Texas PGA; Fourth consecutive with Southern Texas PGA

For the better part of the past decade, Brian Golden's eyes have been firmly planted upon the more than 1,650 PGA Professionals who comprise the Northern Texas (NTPGA) and Southern Texas (STPGA) Sections of the PGA of America. With an ever-growing number of PGA-staffed facilities in both Sections adding the premium dynamic synthetic golf tee systems from TurfHound Inc., Golden is pleased to advance the pioneering company's annual support of the NTPGA and STPGA into 2022.

This July, TurfHound will be the presenting sponsor of the NTPGA's Western Championship, one of four individual stroke-play major championships conducted by the Section. In the lower region of the Lone Star State, TurfHound will be the presenting sponsor in April of the Classic Chevy Championship, one of five major championships on the STPGA's playing schedule.

This is the seventh consecutive year thatTurfHound has supported the NTPGA, and the fourth for the STPGA.

"The many talented PGA Professionals in these two outstanding Sections are committed to growing our great game and industry," said Golden, who also was a PGA member for nearly 25 years. "We want to show them how much we value what they do every day and let them know that because of their passion for TurfHound's leading tee systems, we've been able to significantly increase our presence in their facilities over the past five years. We're thrilled to continue supporting these two highly respected Sections."

Austin Klinghagen, the NTPGA's Director of Business Operations, pointed out that the Section focuses on two key components when it creates and extends corporate partnerships.

"We want to be sure that all of our partners provide real value for our PGA Professionals and that they conduct their business with integrity," he said. "Brian and the TurfHound team have always met those criteria, and we are proud to continue our partnership with TurfHound."

Like their friends to the North, the STPGA has a PGA presence at more than 300 public, private and resort facilities in its Section. So while STPGA Executive Director, Thomas Hutton, acknowledged that TurfHound "has quality products," he added that Golden and the company have an appreciation and respect for those who drive the game daily.

"TurfHound understands the value of the PGA Professional and the relationships they develop and foster at their facilities," said Hutton. "Our partnership With TurfHound is a true win-win, and we look forward to continuing it for many more years."

Coming off its best year ever, TurfHound tee systems can now be found at more than 900 customers in North America, including 65 of the top-ranked courses in the United States. For golfers of all levels, the difference lies with TurfHound's exclusive dual-density foam technology that helps players experience the feel of hitting off real turf. On the business side, TurfHound hitting systems continue to provide a great return on investment for those facilities that are using creative ways to get more golfers to their ranges.
