TPT launches Red Range Hybrid shafts to fix the problems with hybrids

RENENS, SWITZERLAND -- TPT’s Red Range Hybrid Shafts were developed to fix the consistency problems countless golfers experience with their hybrids. And with the release of the TPT Red Range Hybrid Shafts, golfers across the world now have the ability to play a driver shaft, fairway wood shaft, and hybrid shaft that all feel the same at the top end of their set.

Like TPT’s Red Range Driver and Fairway Wood Shafts, the Red Range Hybrid Shafts are created with Continuous Fiber, an automated manufacturing process that removes the major inconsistencies that occur as a result of the roll-wrapping method, the by-hand manufacturing process used by big shaft manufacturers.

“The heavier a carbon fiber shaft is, the more inconsistent it’s going to be if that shaft is made by a big shaft manufacturer,” said TPT Chairman François Mordasini. “That’s because heavier shafts require additional layers of material, and these additional layers of material create more errors in the shaft. TPT shafts are made with automation, so our shafts don’t have that problem. TPT can develop a shaft to nearly any weight and profile and even match the feel of different shafts for different clubs without reducing consistency.”

TPT shafts have been used to win more than 30 tournaments on 13 leading tours since 2016. The Red Range shafts continue to grow in popularity on the PGA Tour and are currently used by Jason Day, Paul Barjon, Sebastian Munoz, and Taylor Montgomery.

Barjon was the first player to play a Red Range Hybrid last year on the Korn Ferry Tour, earning his PGA Tour card with a Red Range 14 Lō Driver Shaft, 14 Lō Fairway Wood Shaft, and 14 Lō Hybrid Shaft.

“At the end of the day we look at numbers,” Barjon said. “And with how straight my TPT shafts are, it’s a no-brainer. At the end of the day, my shafts have a similar feel, and that’s what I’m looking for as a player. I strongly believe that TPT gives me an advantage against other players.”
