Landscapes Golf Management extended to operate Jeremy Ranch Golf amd Country Club (Park City, UT), Max A. Mandel Golf Course (Laredo, TX)

(LINCOLN, Neb.) – Landscapes Golf Management has been granted multi-year extensions to continue operating Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club in Park City, Utah and Max A. Mandel Golf Course in Laredo, Texas.

Under the company’s leadership, each operation has substantially grown golf rounds as well as top- and bottom-lines annually.  Landscapes Golf Management directs employee recruitment and training, property maintenance, marketing and sales, clubhouse operations, merchandising, food and beverage, safety and financial management.

Over the past nearly nine years at Jeremy Ranch, Landscapes Golf Management’s stewardship increased club revenue and net operating income by 100% and 775%, respectively.  A full slate of programming includes virtual concerts, happy hours and wine tastings during peak pandemic periods; shopping network microsites; trivia contests and theme dining events; a Wine Society; junior golf nights; and additions of indoor golf simulators and a Nordic skiing track designed by Olympic gold medalist Billy Demong

“One of the best moves our club made is partnering with Landscapes Golf Management,” says Greg T. Kingdon, President of Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club.  “Excited members and guests use the club with great frequency and, as a result, our healthy balance sheet allows us to reinvest in making Jeremy Ranch even better.”

Landscapes Golf Management oversaw installation of new greens covers, an expanded driving range, new signage, enlarged patio for outdoor dining, remodeled fitness center, new parking lot and other capital enhancements at Jeremy Ranch.

At the helm of Max A. Mandel Golf Club for almost seven years, Landscapes Golf Management has rallied the Laredo community around the athletic and social benefits of golf and related activities.  Youth and sundown golf leagues as well as FootGolf lead Max Mandel’s on-course programming.  Golfers and non-golfers regularly gather on-site for intimate outdoor live music events, Ferrari test drive days, kayaking on the Rio Grande, bird watching festivals and yoga classes.  Partnerships with hotel and sports venues, as well as the Laredo Convention and Visitors Bureau also contribute to the course’s success.

“For Jeremy Ranch and Max Mandel, our regional teams led by Brandon Wallraff, and our on-site team led by General Manager, Dennis Gutierrez, give people and communities a tremendous sense of belonging,” says Tom Everett, President of Landscapes Golf Management.  “Emblematic of our company’s culture is putting the happiness and satisfaction of people first whereby positive results are almost assured.”

Managing the two properties shows Landscapes Golf Management’s versatility.  Jeremy Ranch is private and, from 1982 to 1992, its stellar Arnold Palmer design hosted the annual Senior PGA Tour “Shootout at Jeremy Ranch” between Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Billy Casper, Ben Crenshaw, Chi Chi Rodriguez and other stars.  Max Mandel opened in 2012 and is owned by the City of Laredo.  While viewed by many as primarily a community asset for residents, the Robert Trent Jones II design  is ranked among GOLF Magazine’s America’s “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” in America.
