CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA – Iconic golf equipment brand Honma Golf, the leader in holistically-crafted premium golf clubs, is proud to name golf industry veteran Chuck Couch the new North American Vice President of Sales. Couch previously served 28 years at a leading golf equipment manufacturer in various positions, including 23 years in the company’s golf division.

Couch was most recently vice president of Mizuno USA’s running division from 2016-2021, and of the company’s golf division from 2008-2015. At the latter, he was responsible for strategic planning to drive the golf division goals – rolling out the development of Mizuno USA's product line, brand plan and long-term direction.
In his new role at Honma, Couch will lead the sales force and bring the brand’s coveted product lines to a broadening array of merchandisers and golf consumers in a goal-driven strategy. His decades of experience in this space will serve Honma in its annual and long-term sales strategy for the brand. Chuck will partner closely with Marketing, Finance, R&D as a core member of the Honma North American executive team to execute strategies in all company platforms.

Couch served as the director of marketing for Mizuno USA’s golf division for seven years. There he guided product line integration and oversaw marketing activities including TV commercials, magazine ads and store collateral. He was also a sales manager and sales rep for Mizuno USA, beginning his time at the company as a customer service representative.
Married for 27 years, Couch and his wife have three children. The University of Georgia graduate also carries a 5.3 index.
