Sixth consecutive year supporting leaders in the game and business of golf
The Middle Atlantic PGA Section (MAPGA) has long prided itself on the leadership role that it's played in the game of golf. Three members of the Middle Atlantic PGA -- Max Elbin, Bill Clarke and Allen Wronowski -- have served the PGA of America as President, and the Section celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025. Such long-lasting commitment to the game has been the driving force behind TurfHound Inc.'s ongoing support of the MAPGA.
Brian Golden, a former PGA member for 25 years and the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TurfHound Inc., recently announced that the pioneering company has extended its agreement as a Supporting Sponsor of the MAPGA for a sixth consecutive year. As part of the extension, TurfHound Inc., the leader in premium dynamic synthetic golf tee systems, will be a Supporting Sponsor of the MAPGA Senior Championship.
"Personally and professionally, I have long admired what the Middle Atlantic PGA Section has meant to the growth of the game of golf and the business of the game," said Golden. "We're proud to support the Section and its more than 1,100 PGA Professionals who continue to move our game forward."
Golden is pleased that more MAPGA-staffed facilities continue to add TurfHound tee systems to their ranges, thus positively impacting the more than 900,000 golfers who play more than 16.5 million rounds of golf a season in the Middle Atlantic region.
Jon Guhl, MAPGA Executive Director, is delighted to continue the Section's relationship with TurfHound Inc.
"We are so pleased that TurfHound has continued to support our MAPGA Professionals through event sponsorships and by providing quality range products to them and their facilities," said Guhl. "The TurfHound team, led by Brian Golden, understands and develops relationships with our PGA Professionals to allow everyone to win."
Golden added that TurfHound tee systems are featured at over 70 MAPGA - staffed facilities and feature some which host major championships and premier PGA Tour events.
Coming off its best year ever, TurfHound tee systems can now be found at more than 950 customers in North America, including 67 of the top-ranked courses in the United States.
