Outdoor facility set to open May 24 will be True Spec’s first ever in New Jersey and will offer golfers an elite fitting experience at a renowned golf club recognized as one of the “Best Courses” in the state

JACKSON, NJ April 28, 2022 – True Spec Golf, the global leader in custom club fitting and club building, today announced its newest outdoor facility, True Spec New Jersey, at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson. It is the latest in a growing number of partnerships that brings True Spec’s bespoke fittings and best-in-class customer service to prominent courses around the country.

The outdoor facility is home to one of True Spec’s state-of-the-art mobile fitting units, utilizing Foresight GC Quad technology, and features True Spec’s brand-agnostic fitting matrix of over 50,000 clubhead and shaft combinations, which helps its master fitters find the best equipment to improve your golf game.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our first location in New Jersey, a state with such a rich golf history,” said Ryan Richardson, president of True Spec Golf. “We couldn’t imagine a better partner than Metedeconk National Golf Club to help members and guests alike receive a tour-level custom fitting experience.”

Opened in 1987, Metedeconk features 27 championship caliber holes designed by legendary golf course architects Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Roger Rulewich. The layout of the course was inspired by the varied topography of the preserve on which it sits, atop one of the highest points in central New Jersey. Metedeconk boasts a first-class practice facility with multiple target greens as well as a short-game area and secluded putting green. The True Spec facility at this exclusive club, nestled in the upper region of the New Jersey Pinelands, will be open to both members and the general public.

“Our facility is known for its five-star service and attention to detail,” said Fred Price, Club President at Metedeconk. “True Spec shares those same qualities making them the ideal club fitting partner for us.”

Consistently ranked by GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest as one of America’s top club fitters, True Spec is the nation’s undisputed leader in luxury club fitting. True Spec New Jersey will be the company’s 27th location.

The private, 27-hole facility was designed by world-renowned golf course architects Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Roger Rulewich. The club was created as a golfing oasis, a departure from the hustle and bustle of New York City and Philadelphia, each of which is within one hour’s drive from the club. Natural use of the terrain coupled with the natural beauty of the 607-acre facility, has created a special golfing environment, with focus solely resting on golf. Conditions and course layout are second to none in the Metropolitan area, making Metedeconk synonymous with visual intimidation and pristine conditions.
