Four win weekend with another dominating week for Fujikura

Four Ventus victories as Fujikura takes the No. 1 spot on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour

Carlsbad, California. (May 30, 2022) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was proud to be the #1 driver and wood shaft on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour last week, along with multiple worldwide winners using Fujikura and VENTUS in their bag.

On the PGA Tour at the Charles Schwab Challenge, Fujikura dominated the driver and wood shaft count grabbing the number on spot. 35% of the field using Fujikura driver shafts, with another 29.6% using Fujikura wood shafts. In a play-off showdown that featured all VENTUS driver and wood shafts for both players, the eventual winner captured his title using the VENTUS Blue 7X in his driver, VENTUS Black 8X in his fairway wood and the VENTUS Blue 8X in his hybrid.

At the Bank of Hope Match-Play Event on the LPGA Tour, Fujikura took the title of number one driver and wood shaft for the week. Over 40% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft in Las Vegas, with another 32.8% of players using a Fujikura wood shaft, one of the largest percentages on tour this season.

Over on the PGA Tour Korn Ferry Tour, the winner this past weekend used the VENTUS Black 7-X to win the NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank.

At the Kitchen Aid Senior PGA Championship on the Champions Tour, once again Fujikura grabbed the #1 spot. A total 36.3% of the field chose to play a Fujikura driver shaft with 27.6% using a Fujikura wood shaft. This was another victory for VENTUS with the champion using a VENTUS Blue 6X in his driver and VENTUS Blue 8X in his fairway wood.

Finishing the week at the Dutch Open on the DP World Tour, the eventual winner captured his play-off winning title using the new VENTUS Blue TR 6X in his driver, making it four worldwide VENTUS victories for Fujikura.
