NBC Sports Next and Indiana Golf Association establish partnership

Partnership offers new benefits for IGA-member golfers and clubs

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 20, 2022) – NBC Sports Next, the technology and innovation division of NBC Sports, today announced a new, multi-year partnership with the Indiana Golf Association (IGA), providing added benefits to help its members play more and better golf, and its member golf clubs earn significant savings on everyday purchases.

“Indiana Golf is excited about the extra benefits this partnership with NBC Sports Next will bring to our membership,” said IGA Executive Director Mike David. “Their industry-leading products and services will add value to an already great product.”

The IGA dates to the turn of the 20th century when the association’s first leadership team was elected, including a former U.S. vice president. In 1972, the IGA joined with the Indiana Section of the PGA to form the IGA-PGA, one of the few joint amateur and professional golf organizations in the U.S. Indiana Golf operates throughout the entire state and includes more than 230 clubs and 34,000 members.

As part of its Indiana Golf Membership, the IGA is offering its members a special 10 percent discount off a subscription to GolfPass+, golf’s most comprehensive digital membership. GolfPass is the only membership that delivers an unmatched library of on-demand instructional and entertainment programming, as well as comprehensive tee-time benefits and rewards designed to help every type of golfer – from beginner to expert – play more and better golf.

Additionally, all IGA-member clubs are invited to join the more than 700 organizations currently benefiting from NBC Sports Next’s ClubBuy group-purchasing program. ClubBuy is completely free and can save clubs anywhere from 12-17 percent off everyday purchases for their facilities, from food to office supplies to agronomy products, and more.

“We’re continually innovating, not only lending our technology to solve problems and create efficiencies but also improving our services that add value,” said NBC Sports Next’s Dan Burquist, National Director of Sales, Golf. “We’re excited to partner with the IGA to help them improve their member benefits, especially in these challenging economic times.”

Both NBC Sports Next and the IGA partner with Youth on Course, dedicating resources to help promote affordable access to young golfers, ages 6-18.
