Tickets on sale and volunteer registration now open for the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic, Sept. 26-Oct. 2; the Tribute Trail 5K presented by At&T to kick off tournament week, Saturday, Sept. 24

Tournament ticket offerings include exclusive hospitality access at the all-new Casamigos Club and general grounds passes; all military and first responders to receive complimentary admission to the 2022 event; tickets on-sale exclusively at www.VOAClassic.com

THE COLONY, Texas, Aug. 2, 2022 – Tournament officials announced today a variety of ticket packages are now on sale at www.VOAClassic.com for the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic, Texas’ signature LPGA Tour event. The Volunteers of America Classic will take place Sept. 26-Oct. 2 at Golf Clubs at The Tribute and playing at Old American Golf Club, where 132 of the world’s top professional golfers will compete for a share of the $1.5 million purse.

“As Texas’ annual LPGA Tour event, the Volunteers of America Classic has become a must-attend event for golfers and golf fans of all ages over the years,” said Mike King, Volunteers of America national president and CEO. “As a national nonprofit who has long supported the military and our veterans and local heroes, we are honored to extend complimentary admission to all military and first responders who have kept our families and country safe. We look forward to welcoming back our great fans and the game’s best players in September to The Colony.”

“The return of fans back to the Volunteers of America Classic in 2021 was a tremendous success, and we look forward to building on that momentum in The Colony and the greater Dallas-area communities as we prepare for the tournament’s 10th year,” said Emily Podzielinski, tournament director for the Volunteers of America Classic. “We are excited to offer expanded ticket offerings in 2022, including the all-new Casamigos Club hospitality viewing deck for fans to enjoy on-site at the tournament in September.”

Ticket packages for the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic include exclusive hospitality and general admissions tickets offering a wide degree of entertainment and access. New for 2022 is the Casamigos Club exclusive hospitality viewing patio near the 17th green at Old American Golf Club, where fans will be able to enjoy complimentary snacks and specialty cocktails featuring Casamigos, the Official Tequila of the Volunteers of America Classic. Tickets are available for purchase exclusively at www.VOAClassic.com. All tickets will be digital and will be emailed after purchase. Tickets can be viewed on either a mobile device or printed out where they will be scanned at the main gate.

2022 Volunteers of America Ticket Options: There are three ticket options for fans interested in attending the Volunteers of America Classic:

  • Good-Any-One-Day Grounds:
  • Weekly Grounds:
  • Casamigos Club:
  • $20. General admission daily grounds. Valid any one day, Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 29-Oct. 2.
  • $45. General admission weekly grounds. Valid all days Thursday-Sunday.
  • New for 2022, Casamigos Club offers VIP access to complimentary, upgraded snacks and specialty cocktails featuring Casamigos Tequila at an exclusive hospitality viewing deck located near the 17th green.
  • Daily Casamigos Club: $125. Valid for one day, Thursday-Sunday.
  • Weekly Casamigos Club: $400. Valid all four days, Thursday-Sunday.

All military (active, reserve, retired and veterans) and first responders will receive complimentary admission to the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic by showing proper identification at Admissions in exchange for a daily grounds pass. Children 17-and-under will be admitted free with a ticketed adult.

 The Tribute Trail 5K presented by AT&T Registration Now Open: Returning this year to kick off tournament week will be The Tribute Trail 5K presented by AT&T on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Tribute Trail 5K will give runners the opportunity to run along the back nine holes at Old American Golf Club that LPGA Tour players will be competing on just days later. All runners will receive a complimentary ticket to the Volunteers of America Classic valid any ONE Day Thursday - Sunday the following week.

Registration is $30 for anyone 14 and older, and $15 for youth 13 and under.

Registration fees will increase to $40 for everyone 14-and-over on Sept. 19.

The race package includes:

Volunteer Registration Now Open: Volunteer registration also is now open for the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic. Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to serve critical needs at the Volunteers of America Classic, including marshaling, scoring, transportation, hospitality services and many other important roles. In 2022, the Volunteers of America Classic is seeking more than 500 volunteers to fill a variety of roles during tournament week. The $60 volunteer package includes two official tournament golf shirts; a hat or visor; four weekly grounds passes; a volunteer credential allowing grounds access and complimentary parking all week; and meals provided on schedules days of volunteering. Volunteers who work three or more shifts will receive a voucher to play Golf Clubs at The Tribute. A number of local Texans are expected to join the tournament field for the 2022 edition of the championship. The Volunteers of America Classic has crowned a local Texas resident each of the past three years: Cheyenne Knight (2019), Angela Stanford (2020) and Jin Young Ko (2021).
