True Spec North Georgia to open at Cartersville Country Club

New venture set to open August 16 will be True Spec’s second location in Georgia and will offer golfers an elite fitting experience at a state-of-the-art facility

CARTERSVILLE, GA (August 5, 2022) – True Spec Golf, the global leader in custom club fitting and club building, is opening its newest location at Cartersville Country Club. True Spec North Georgia will be located alongside Scott Hamilton Golf Academy and will officially be open to the public on August 16. This is the latest opening in a growing number of partnerships that brings True Spec’s bespoke fittings and best-in-class customer service to prominent venues around the country.

True Spec North Georgia will feature a premier indoor-to-outdoor fitting space with a short game area and a state-of-the-art fitting bay utilizing Foresight GCQuad technology. In addition, the premium facility will offer True Spec’s brand-agnostic fitting matrix of over 50,000 clubhead and shaft combinations, including every major equipment manufacturer. Each club will be custom built at True Spec’s Scottsdale headquarters to the exact specifications derived from the fitting process. This helps its master fitters find the best equipment to improve your golf game.

Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, Cartersville Country Club is home to an 18-hole championship golf course and is widely regarded as one of the state’s finest country clubs. The prestigious Scott Hamilton Golf Academy is also located on the grounds of the club.

Opened initially as a 9-hole course in 1954, Cartersville Country Club was redesigned as an 18-hole championship course in 1972, by World Golf Hall of Famer Gary Player, and has undergone a number of upgrades in the years since. The club hosts a wide variety of tournaments and clinics for Juniors through Seniors.
