GolfForever to sponsor tournaments, share golf fitness solutions with VGA members

Aspen, ColoradoGOLFFOREVER, the industry-leading at-home golf fitness training system that helps golfers play without limits, is pleased to announce it has partnered with the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA), the national organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. GOLFFOREVER will be a sponsor of VGA tournaments, including its annual VGA National Championship.

Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Joshua Peyton, VGA supports 16,000 Veteran members from all branches of the Armed Forces who play in its 950+ golf events on a local, regional and national level. Forty-nine states in the U.S. have a VGA Chapter which organizes VGA Tour events and championships.

“GOLFFOREVER is proud to sponsor and support the vital, inspiring efforts of the Veteran Golfers Association,” says managing director Jon Levy. “Josh Peyton and his team have built an extraordinary community and network of Veteran golfers who thrive thanks to these events and the connections made through this great organization. It’s important to note that while suicide rates among Veterans are staggering, VGA has not lost a single member to suicide since it was launched in 2014. We relish the opportunity to get to know these brave servicepeople better as we grow our partnership with the VGA.”

GOLFFOREVER will have a demonstration team present at upcoming VGA events, including its National Championship at Trump National Doral Miami Sept. 25 - 28, to share the benefits of the GOLFFOREVER Swing Trainer paired with the expert golf fitness videos on the groundbreaking GOLFFOREVER mobile app. Additionally, VGA members will receive discount pricing on GOLFFOREVER products and free lifetime access to the GOLFFOREVER online fitness training platform.

Previous VGA National Championships have been held at elite venues such as Pinehurst No. 2 at Pinehurst Resort, Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif., The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia and Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ.

“GOLFFOREVER represents the very best in quality golf fitness training and we’re proud to share its merits and health benefits with our membership,” Peyton says. “Our members are serious about golf and improving their games, so I think GOLFFOREVER will soon become a staple in their lives in the very near future.”

GOLFFOREVER is the first golf-specific home training program to embrace the approach of home exercise equipment paired with streaming instruction. GOLFFOREVER customizes each golfer’s exercise routines specifically for them, based on a proprietary strength and flexibility test. It is safe and highly effective for any golfer.

The GOLFFOREVER Swing Trainer, the groundbreaking training system World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler uses to train for the PGA Tour, pairs the first-ever multi-use golf fitness and warmup tool with video-streaming routines for flexibility, speed, power and injury recovery in the GOLFFOREVER app. The at-home, cord-driven training device doubles as an optimized weighted warmup club with a D3 swing weight, making it the complete at-home golf training system and the only golf-specific exercise and warmup tool a golfer will ever need.

ABOUT THE VETERAN GOLFERS ASSOCIATION (VGA)
The Veteran Golfers Association is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organizationdedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. Annually, the VGA hosts more than 950 local tournaments across the country, culminating in a VGA National Championship each fall. The VGA started as an idea amongst Wounded Veterans at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC. Several friends routinely got together to play golf courses around the area to encourage each other to not only improve their games but to also heal through camaraderie and competition. After recovering from their injuries, these friends relocated around the country and missed the opportunity to compete against one another regularly. Realizing that other Veterans might be in this same situation, these friends got together in 2014 to create the VGA, the first golfing organization dedicated to promoting the game to all Veterans and their family members.
