Red Allen’s Patio at the Wigwam recognized as one of the top patios in U.S. by Club + Resort Business

Litchfield Park, Ariz. (August 30, 2022) – Red Allen’s Bar & Grill Patio at The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz. has been honored by Club + Resort Business as one of the “Top Ranked Private Club and Resort Patios in the U.S.” for 2022 in the magazine’s August issue. The Red Allen’s Patio is ranked as the 23rd best in the U.S. according to the golf and hospitality industry trade publication, which covers the operations and management staff of country clubs, semi-private/daily fee, city clubs, yacht clubs and resorts that operate club-like facilities.

Submitted entries for Club + Resort Business’ Top Patios ranking were selected and ranked by a panel of judges. The rankings reflect the judges’ scoring of data on Total Patio Area; Total Covered Area; Seating Capacity; Total Capacity; Outdoor Ovens; Firepits; Number of Outdoor Bar / Service Stations; and Average Daily Meal Covers served on the patio. Inclusion on the ranking highlights the investments clubs and resorts have made in their patios and the commitment to the member and guest experience.

Red Allen’s Bar & Grill Patio overlooks The Wigwam’s Gold and Blue golf courses. The restaurant’s relaxed vibe pairs nicely with an outstanding menu of delicious salads, sandwiches, burgers and a rotating selection of local craft beers. Named after the club’s head golf professional of 42 years, Red Allen’s is The Wigwam’s 19th hole and features four firepits, and seating for more than 120 guests. During the fall, winter and spring, meal covers on the patio average 550-plus per day.

With a rich history dating back to 1929, The Wigwam is the only Arizona resort with three 18-hole championship golf courses – The Gold, The Blue and The Red. Two courses were designed by legendary course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. (Gold and Blue), while Robert “Red” Lawrence designed the Red Course. Plus, unlike many desert golf courses found throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, The Wigwam’s Gold, Blue and Redcourses are all true parkland courses with parallel fairways and greens, which makes finding your ball easier and rounds more enjoyable.
