Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, CA hit a milestone this year—their 100th Anniversary. To celebrate the historic date, they developed a special anniversary logo to utilize throughout the year. Oakmont turned to Malcolm DeMille to transform the 100th Anniversary logo into awards and gifts for their Men’s, Ladies, Family, and Couples Tournaments.
The team at Malcolm DeMille crafted a 14” Round Deluxe Tray honoring all Oakmont’s 2022 Champions. The handled tray prominently features a 4” sculpted polished brass and epoxy casting of Oakmont’s “100” logo that is surrounded by engraving. From the top and moving clockwise, the tray displays the Men’s, Couples, Family and Ladies Champion names. Each of these Champions also received their own trophy tray award.
The Champions of each event were awarded a 12” Gadroon Tray with the special “100” logo in a polished brass and epoxy and engraved with “Oakmont Country Club”, the event name and “Champion”. The Men’s Champion and the #1 Caddie were also awarded an additional gift of a Malcolm DeMille crafted money clip.
The 100th Anniversary money clip consisted of a sculptural polished nickel top detailed with oak leaves that were lightly antiqued by hand. Black epoxy was placed in the center of the design with a polished brass casting of Oakmont’s “100” logo on top. The money clip top also included three banners for engraving, and came with an IDCC wallet for the recipient to use with the money clip.
