(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) – The first annual LOHLA SPORT Tournament of Club Champions featuring golf legend Annika Sorenstam last week at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California was a rousing success.
The competition was between current gross ladies’ club champions representing golf and country clubs which carry LOHLA SPORT, the premium ladies’ golf-lifestyle apparel brand. The tournament winner was Karen Dougherty from Blackhawk Country Club (Danville, CA), followed by Dena Levy from Las Posas Country Club and Carolyn Cusick from Sherwood Country Club, both in Southern California.
As LOHLA SPORT’s global ambassador, Annika welcomed players during an opening reception at the company’s showroom and warehouse, offered swing tips on the driving range during player warm-ups and presented trophies and awards. She also participated in a fireside chat alongside John O’Hurley, the actor who played the recurring J. Peterman on “Seinfeld” and is husband to LOHLA SPORT Founder and CEO Lisa O’Hurley.

Prizes and giveaways included Kendra Scott jewelry, Duca Del Cosma golf shoes, REVO sunglasses, a Sacks Parente fitting and putter, Beverly Hills MD skincare and yoga gifts. Official club partner XXIO sampled its line and hosted a straightest drive competition on LOHLA SPORT’s golf simulator. The event’s official charitable arm, Read on Sonoma, presented the ladies with a fun skins game. Activities concluded with a golf fashion show by the Sherwood Lady Golf Ambassadors.
