Over the weekend, the Valero Texas Open closed out their event with a two-time winner, Corey Conners. Conners finished the last round bogey-free winning the Valero Texas Open by one stroke and took home the intricate Valero Texas Open trophy sculpted by Malcolm DeMille.

The iconic trophy features a crystal shaped Texas and Valero flag surrounded by hand sculpted San Antonio landmarks including: The Alamo, the San Fernando Cathedral, the Tower of Life, the Tower of the Americas, Frost Tower, Marriott River Center, the Torch of Friendship and of course the world-famous San Antonio River Walk.

The perpetual trophy stands atop a three-tiered oak wood base that commemorates past champions of the Valero Texas Open going back to 1922, where the Champion’s trophy, that Corey Conners took home, sits on a single-tier oak wood base. The team at Malcolm DeMille is proud to be a part of a historic event by creating this stunning trophy.
