New collaboration brings on-demand golf instruction and swing analysis technology to Northern Michigan golf course

V1 Sports and Bahle Farms Golf Course partner to make golf instruction accessible to all

(NOVI, MI)V1 Sports, the pioneer in swing video analysis solutions for coaches and athletes, will collaborate with Bahle Farms Golf Course in Suttons Bay, Northern Michigan to bring mobile on-demand instruction and swing analysis tools directly to golfers where on-site instruction doesn’t exist.

Beginning in May 2023, V1 GOLF will provide QR code stations at Bahle Farms Golf Course to connect golfers of all skill levels to golf improvement tools through the V1 GOLF app on-demand coaching through its mobile app. Trusted by over three million golfers, V1 GOLF provides in-app drawing tools to analyze, compare and contrast each swing, access drills from top coaches in golf, and connect directly with a golf coach for remote, hybrid, or in person instruction.

“Collaborating with courses like Bahle Farms Golf Course enables V1 Sports to further its mission of making instruction accessible to all,” said Alex Prasad, CEO, V1 Sports. “We have seen a need in our golf community with seasonal courses and municipalities that don’t have the resources to staff a full time golf instructor and we have the technology solution to help resolve that need. This collaboration is just the start of how V1 Sports is going to make golf instruction accessible to all.”

Bahle Farms Golf Course is an 18-hole course overlooking Suttons Bay, just minutes from the popular Northern Michigan vacation destination town, Traverse City. The father-son owned family business has been an integral part of Leelanau County’s history for over 20 years. Due to the area’s colder climate, Bahle Farms Golf Course is a seasonal course, opening their 200 acre course to the public from April through October. Like Bahle Farms Golf Course, many seasonal courses are unable to provide on-site, in-person coaching, which this collaboration aims to solve. V1 Sports plans to expand their partnerships to over 100 golf courses throughout this year.

Instruction from the app doesn’t end when you leave the course. The app saves your on-going progress, and provides a large library of drills that can be done at the range or home to utilize drawing tools to analyze your swing. V1 GOLF gives players access to over 400 model swings, including swings from Rory McIlroy, Tony Finau, Tiger Woods and Scottie Scheffler. By partnering with courses to bring the V1 GOLF app directly to their visitors, V1 Sports has taken another step in improving access to golf instruction for all.
