Taylormade named title sponsor of Troon Events' Whistling Straits Pro Am

Event set for Aug. 8-13 in Wisconsin, limited spots still available

Scottsdale, Ariz. (May 31, 2023) – Troon Events, the luxury travel experiences and tournaments division of Troon®, is pleased to announce TaylorMade Golf as the title sponsor of the Whistling Straits Pro Am, scheduled for August 8 - 13, 2023 at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The TaylorMade Pro Am at Whistling Straits is part of the 2023/2024 Troon Events Tournament schedule, a collection of golf events that offer amateur and professional golfers premier competition with exceptional hospitality at iconic venues, including Whistling Straits, TPC Sawgrass, Pinehurst and Pebble Beach Resorts.

The TaylorMade Pro Am at Whistling Straits is limited to 25 teams (100 players) and will feature four rounds  of  world-class golf at the Straits (play two times), Irish and Blackwolf Run (River) courses, and five nights  luxury  accommodations  at  The American  Club  Resort  or  Carriage  House. The Pro Am experience is inclusive of breakfast daily, round trip transportation to/from the courses, a welcome reception at Kohler Design Center, an awards reception and dinner, along with happy hour events in the evenings. TaylorMade’s world-class Experiential Team will be on site offering Stealth 2 driver fittings as well as exclusive access to Fall 2023 products. All Pro Am participants will receive a TaylorMade welcome gift valued at $750. In addition, professional golfers will compete for a share of the $10,000 purse with the top six professionals paid, while amateurs will play for tournament prizes valued at more than $1,000.

The 2023/2024 Troon Events Tournament schedule includes a total of four events, each with amateur competitions in both gross and net divisions with top teams earning prizes. Professional golfers competing in the Whistling Straits, Pinehurst and Pebble Beach Resorts events will play for shares of the $10,000 purses. As an added bonus, golfers who participate in three of the four events receive a complimentary National Troon Foursome Card, which provides preferred rates at participating Troon-managed and brand-affiliated courses.
