Sold out amateur event presented by Callaway set for September 24-27 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
Scottsdale, Ariz. (June 1, 2023) – Troon Events, the luxury travel experiences and tournaments division of Troon®, is pleased to announce Good Good Golf, the omni-channel entertainment platform, as the title sponsor and Callaway Golf as the presenting sponsor of the TPC Sawgrass Shootout – an all-inclusive Am-Am scheduled for September 24 – 27, 2023 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Part of Troon Events’ 2023/2024 tournament schedule, The Good Good Shootout at TPC Sawgrass presented by Callaway sold out quickly after being announced on Good Good Golf’s social channels on June 1st. Limited playing spots remain available in other upcoming Troon Events’ tournaments, including events at Whistling Straits (August 8-13), Pinehurst (August 23-27) and Pebble Beach (February 13-18, 2024). Troon Events is a collection of golf events that offer amateur and professional golfers premier competition with exceptional hospitality at iconic venues.
The Good Good Shootout at TPC Sawgrass presented by Callaway will include 50 two-person amateur teams (100 players) and feature two rounds of golf across two award-winning golf courses, THE PLAYERS Stadium Course (home of THE PLAYERS Championship) and the Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass, along with three nights luxury accommodations at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. This is all-inclusive food and beverage experience both on and off course, also includes merchandise from the TPC Sawgrass golf shop along with a Good Good Golf and Callaway welcome gift package valued at $1,000.

As part of the title sponsorship, participants in The Good Good Shootout will receive the aforementioned welcome gift with Good Good Golf merchandise, including hats, shirts and outerwear. Good Good Golf will also promote the Shootout on its social media channels, promote digitally via email and SMS and create multiple YouTube videos documenting the event. Good Good Golf receives multiple playing spots in the Shootout as well as access to the Troon Partners Network, connecting companies and brands with golf, lifestyle and hospitality.

The 2023/2024 Troon Events tournament schedule includes a total of four tournaments, each with amateur competitions in both gross and net divisions with top teams earning prizes. For The Good Good Shootout at TPC Sawgrass, the top three low-gross and low-net teams can win up to $600 for first, up to $400 for second and up to $200 third. What’s more, in the Whistling Straits, Pinehurst and Pebble Beach Resorts events top professional golfers can compete for shares of $10,000 purses. As an added bonus, golfers who participate in three of the four events receive a complimentary National Troon Foursome Card, which provides preferred rates at participating Troon-managed and brand-affiliated courses.
