HARTFORD – SwingU, the sports technology and media company, congratulates SwingU Tour Ambassador Cameron Sisk on his first professional victory at the $100,000 purse Good Good Championship at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Sisk, a first-year pro out of Arizona State University who started using SwingU Versus in August 2021 to track his stats and guide his practice sessions, shot 15-under par over two rounds to win by 3 strokes and earn a $50,000 winner’s check.
“Winning this tournament was a bit of a breakthrough for me. It was my first win as a professional, and it was great to see all parts of my game come together under pressure,” said Sisk. “$50,000 is a big help to my professional golf career. Having financial stability in pro golf can take a lot of weight off your shoulders and allow you to go out and compete and play freely.”
Shooting rounds of 65-62 on the par-71 layout, Sisk’s all-around game shined. He gained +1.8 strokes vs. par off the tee, +3.9 strokes approaching the green and +4.2 strokes on the greens.
“SwingU has given me a great look at the areas that I need to improve on week in and week out,” said Sisk. “Knowing where my strengths and weaknesses are have made my preparation going into tournaments much more productive and intentional.”
Sisk will spend the summer of 2023 competing on the PGA Tour Canada.
Since the start of 2021, more than 100 active professional and top-tier collegiate golfers have been using the SwingU App and Strokes Gained platform to track their advanced statistics and game-improvement data.
