Youth on Course adds Steven Martin as chief marketing officer

(MONTEREY, Calif.) – Youth on Course (YOC) – the non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf – has announced that Steven (Steve) Martin has joined its staff as Chief Marketing Officer.

Steve is an accomplished marketing, branding and corporate partnership executive for large brands, start-ups and nonprofits with over 25 years of experience. A true management leader with direct influence over company and nonprofit strategic direction, he has had a wide variety of marketing leadership roles including stints at Sprint, Charles Schwab, Caruso, City of Hope, Share our Strength/No Kid Hungry and as lead marketing/brand/PR advisor to fast growing start-up Lettuce Grow.

Martin has led teams that have developed brands seen every day including No Kid Hungry, the Charles Schwab Cup and Lettuce Grow. Youth on Course allows Steve to be involved in two (2) of his passions - golf and helping young people. About Youth on Course

The core purpose of Youth on Course (YOC) is to provide youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Headquartered in Monterey, CA, Youth on Course is a 501(c)3 organization that began as the charitable arm of the Northern California Golf Association. Since 2006, YOC has grown to 160,000 members throughout North America and Australia, playing for $5 or less at nearly 2,000 golf courses. Members also benefit from career opportunities through the Careers on Course internship program and have the opportunity to be awarded college scholarships. To date, YOC members have played more than two million subsidized rounds of golf, each round representing a new opportunity for learning, growth and connection through affordable access to play.
