West Bay Club ranked in Golfweek Magazine's Top 200 Private Residential Golf Courses

Estero, Florida (July 6 2023) – West Bay Club, a nature-filled Southwest Florida private enclave, was ranked for the 2nd year in a row in the “Top 200 Residential Private Golf Courses in the United States” by USA Today’s GolfWeek. West Bay is currently ranked 142 on this very prestigious list, proudly representing the area, which is rich in high quality golf courses.

West Bay Golf Club’s Board President Jack Coyle shares, “This sustained level of accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without an experienced and engaged staff of agronomists providing superior playing conditions.” General Manager/COO Tom Tripoli adds, “We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and continued recognition as it reflects not only the pride within our Membership but also the commitment to excellence by our Superintendent Stephen Stortz and his team.”

West Bay’s Pete and PB Dye-designed course opened in 1998 and underwent enhancements by Fry/Straka in 2018. Seven sets of tees welcome every level of player to an equitable, yet challenging test of golf that favors finesse over distance. The playing experience is as much a walk with nature as it is a round of golf. Golfers don’t play between houses at West Bay; they play between out-of-bounds sanctuary sections and the daily comings-and-goings of wildlife.

Managed by Troon Privé, the award-winning division of private clubs, West Bay Club continues to boast waitlists for their Premier Golf Membership, available to both residents and non-residents. For more information on West Bay Club, visit www.westbayclubs.com.
