48 Troon-affiliated courses honored by Golf Digest

Scottsdale, Ariz. (August 7, 2023) – Troon®, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, congratulates the 48 brand-affiliated courses recently honored in Golf Digest’s biennial ‘Best in State’ ranking and 9 facilities named to the newly released ‘America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses’ list.

Golf Digest’s Best in State rankings are based on more than 80,000 evaluations over a 10-year cycle by their 1,900 low-handicap panelists, who assess candidate courses based on the following criteria: Shot Options, Challenge, Design Variety, Conditioning, Aesthetics, Character and Fun. Golf Digest has been publishing a Best in State ranking every other year since 1977, making this the 24th edition.
